NTU CV360 checker:

Current CV uploaded at the start of this module scored only 66% with 20 elements failing the check.

Main take aways:

My CV is considered short, I was always advised to keep it brief and stick to one page however it only takes 1-2 minutes to read, maybe this is a bad thing. Interestingly this system highlights that Word is a good format for CVs as they will likely be run through this software and PDF doesn't suit it. Also the software doesn't favour the use of text boxes as they are harder to read. I converted my CV to a Word document for this service but perhaps I should keep a version of it on Word.

I should add in my links to social media, LinkedIn and my Professional instagram account.

Skills:

The checker highlighted that I could include skills within each of my educations however, I think that this is more relevant in my experience/employment sections, especially considering that I have a separate skills section.

The word cloud is showing that my main skill is general sales. I may have the most work experience of this but I think that I need to emphasise my other skills more. I can do this by increasing use of skills related to creative experiences. Creativity and innovation should be bigger, Design, and related soft skills. Knitwear isn't on this skills word cloud.

I should try to include some longer sentences in the text and this includes increasing the size of my personal profile. This links to what Angela Fuso said about including a mini cover letter at the beginning of her CV, this could be a good way of adding sentence length to the CV.

Mid module CV taking into account CV360 service comments:

(format is WORD for the purposes of uploading to the service and I need to figure out a way to add my branding whilst keeping it in a format that CV checkers used in industry can use)
